Practice: October 9

The Washington Capitals were on ice Sunday morning at 11:30 AM for practice following last night’s 4-3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.  Some notes from Kettler Capitals Iceplex:

Every Capital on the roster skated today except for Roman Hamrlik, who was just taking a day off after leading the team in ice time yesterday.  The defenseman’s availability for Monday night’s game with Tampa is not expected to be in any jeopardy.

Bruce Boudreau’s lines returned to normal a bit today, with Marcus Johansson back in between Troy Brouwer and Alexander Semin on the second line.  All other units from last night’s win remained the same, which means that Mathieu Perreault was taking extra rushes on the fourth line.

Tomas Vokoun is still expected to start in goal tomorrow night.
