Two of the Caps’ newest tweeters
While many members of the Washington Capitals organization were still reveling in their 4-3 Rookie Game win over the Philadelphia Flyers or partaking in Alex Ovechkin‘s 25th birthday celebration, three members of the 2010 Calder Cup winning Hershey Bears squad were busy playing on the Internet.
Eric Fehr, acting Caps social media ambassador, successfully recruited Karl Alzner, John Carlson (who debunked any rumor of a number change with his new handle) and Andrew Gordon to sign up for twitter accounts, joining Mike Green and Hershey’s newest netminder Jared DeMichiel. So far, we’ve learned that Tyler Sloan doesn’t like to share, the Real American Hero loves America’s pastime, and King Karl is a shark at shuffleboard – but who knows what wacky antics the future will bring? Hopefully they keep tweeting, and don’t go the same route Ovi did.
The only way to know is to follow ’em (and hope Gordo gets his computer fixed). The list is below, and feel free to say hi to us as well!
